The month of October has proven to be a fruitful one for the economic development teams of four different rural communities.
“This important funding program will help address mobility gaps and other barriers to underserved areas of the state, particularly for senior citizens, individuals with disabilities and veterans,” says State Transportation Director Bradley C. Wieferich.
Progressive Mechanical – a Clawson-based firm that designs, builds and installs mechanical processing and fire protection systems – expects to employ about 25 union workers in its new Monitor Township facility.
"Through this program, we’ve been able to extend our efforts in protecting our waterways by supporting projects that have made a significant positive impact on our watershed," says Deana Jerdee, Paddle Antrim Executive Director.
