Once common in rural Michigan, barns are disappearing from the landscape. But in one Michigan community barns are turning into works of art. This innovation has not only preserved part of the state's agricultural past but has become an economic tool for Port Austin.

“With the Arts Gallery being right here, it really allows our members to be surrounded by all this creative work made by local artists. I hope some creativity percolates in our members."
“I’m really excited about the opening of the kitchen at Grace Episcopal Church. It opens doors for many new business owners as well as those who are currently running an established business,” says kitchen coordinator Daysha Woodley.
