Hillsdale Hospital has launched Rural Health Strong, a communications and advocacy campaign to promote the value of rural health and encourage the nation to take action toward preserving it.
The Leelanau Conservancy has big plans for the long-dormant ski resort property, transforming the 285-acre site into a year-round public recreation area.
A collaborative effort in Northern Michigan will create a regenerative agriculture and hospitality destination on the Leelanau Peninsula. The plan is to also amplify the state's flourishing wine and agricultural scenes.
"Our diversity, equity, and inclusion grants are still going strong thanks to the support of donor and community partners," said Gina Thornbury, senior community impact manager for the Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation. "Each cycle we continue to receive a number of grant applications. The need is clear, and we remain committed to funding diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the region."
