Northern Strike returns to the Tip of the Mitt

The Highway 2 Community Drive-In Theater is the last drive-in theater in the Upper Peninsula and among the few remaining in Michigan. The theater is run by a nonprofit organization and is open only for special movie events and community programs.

Michigan has more than 13,400 miles of state-designated trails, in addition to routes that fall under local, county or federal jurisdiction. More than 2,600 miles of old railroad lines have been converted for recreational use as part of a growing rails-to-trails program.
