Mike Kent

Mike Kent is a veteran news reporter who started in small-market radio, then transitioned to television as a capitol reporter, assignment manager in Detroit, and news director in Traverse City and Lansing. For 22 years, he worked in marketing and public relations, including running his own business. Most recently, he worked as the PR manager for Traverse City Tourism. Today he is a freelance writer and journalist mostly covering Michigan stories and events.
