Michigan Farmers Union hosts annual convention on Dec. 3

Attendees will hear from speakers on issues affecting agricultural policy.

What’s happening: The Michigan Farmers Union will host its annual membership meeting and convention on December 3 at the Agro Liquid Fertilizer Convention Center in St. Johns.

About the convention: Attendees will hear from speakers on issues affecting agricultural policy. Scheduled to appear are: Jeff Kippley, vice president, National Farmers Union; Nate Engle, director of community engagement, Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; and Michigan Farmers Union members and leadership. The afternoon will consist of reviewing MFU’s policy book as well as voting on board positions. Participants will also receive a free lunch, but must register in advance.
